A simple tool for create game map, especially metroidvania style game map.
Change Edit Mode:1,2,3,4
Navigation
- Pan : Middle Mouse
- Zoom: Scroll Mouse
Room Mode (Press 1)
- Box Select：s
- Draw Cell : Left Mouse
- Draw Cell(Force Overwrite on other room) : Shift + Left Mouse
- Erase Cell : Right Mouse
- Create New/Select Room : Spacebar
- Delete Room : X
Door Mode (Press 2)
- Draw Door : Left Mouse
- Erase Door : Right Mouse
Icon Mode (Press 3)
- Draw Icon: Left Mouse
- Erase Icon: Right Mouse
- Pick Icon: Spacebar
- No Snap Draw: Alt + Left Mouse
- Half Snap Draw: Ctrl + Left Mouse
Text Mode (Press 4)
- Add New/Select Text: Left Mouse
- Delete Text: Right Mouse
Area Edit
- Move Area: V
- Set Area Boundary : C
Export Map
- Save: Ctrl + S
- Save As: Ctrl + Shift + S
- Export Map : Ctrl + E
- Batch Export Area: Ctrl + Shift + E
- Show/Hide Grid: Ctrl + G

The save system is still broken, unfortunately.
What's issue you came from, online or offline version? On my PC, when I press download map it will download a png map for me.
I'm using the offline/browser version. The problem is specifically that there's no option to save, as the Download Map button is nonexistent, and in both the itch launcher and the normal website the hotkeys don't work
Specifically the issue is that there is no option to save your progress, either you save the full image, or, it just deletes all your progress.
Currently, online version only can export png, cause browser cannot let you load a file from your pc

Implement the save option in the toolbar back please. The browser and itch app unfortunately intercept the save, save as and export shortcuts.
can it export to a text file with rooms identified?, I would like to autogenerate the map in the game engine
Don't know why, but whenever I try to edit an already made area the editor closes. Please fix this!

Also man eraser is right mouse button if you press it 90% chance to close the app. Also in all other games.
